About TechGadgetSpot
A UAE resident's notes on buying tech here, published by AHSoft.
TechGadgetSpot is a buying guide for people who live in the UAE and want a clearer way to choose tech. It is published by Amir Hamdani for AHSoft.
Amir lives in the UAE and writes these notes for the same conditions he shops in: Amazon.ae delivery that depends on the emirate, Type G sockets, 220–240V power, summer heat, fine dust, and apps that may or may not be offered locally. The tone is a resident comparing public information, not a lab report.
How the research works
Guides are built from manufacturer specifications, manuals, support pages, and patterns that show up repeatedly in published owner reports. TechGadgetSpot does not claim a private test bench, loaned review units, or a set number of hours with a product. Where a detail is not in the public record, the guide says so by leaving it out.
Attention stays on the kinds of products most households actually compare — accessories, audio, small appliances, and desk kit — plus the occasional flagship when it is the honest answer. Guides are dated and revised when a model is discontinued or a spec page changes.
How the site is funded
TechGadgetSpot is a participant in the Amazon Associates Programme. A purchase made through a link on this site can earn a commission. That does not add a charge at checkout. Placement is not for sale, and cons stay in the guide when they matter.
What you can expect
- Every product link points at a real ASIN and exists for a stated reason.
- Pages do not quote prices, discount percentages, or star ratings.
- A product is not described as available on Amazon.ae unless that has been checked. If it has not, the page says to confirm the listing.
- Comparisons end with a recommendation you can disagree with, and the reason is on the page.
